Dontsov's magnum opus – the very same "Nationalism" you read before you – became a guide for the younger generation of OUN and UPA fighters. It was from this book that integral nationalism emerged, a worldview that answers the question of what the Idea of a Nation is in practice.
The book is quite complex for today's reader; not everyone can fully grasp Dontsov's work. At the same time, it provides the foundation without which a Greater Ukraine is impossible.
Dmytro Ivanovich Dontsov was born on August 29, 1883, in Melitopol, Taurida Governorate (now Zaporizhia Oblast, Ukraine). He was a prominent Ukrainian literary critic, publicist, philosopher, and political figure. He was one of the first leaders of the Union for the Liberation of Ukraine (SOU), the head of the first Ukrainian telegraph agency, and the chief ideologist of Ukrainian integral nationalism. This prominent figure died at the age of 89 on March 30, 1973, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
