Wiley X Nerve Goggle Kit is a professional tactical goggle, engineered to provide reliable eye protection in combat environments, extreme sports, or during active outdoor use. Designed to shield the eyes in the harshest conditions, it effectively protects against fast-moving debris, shrapnel, sand, dust, mud, snow, rain, strong winds, and intense sunlight. With a secure fit and wide frame, the goggles offer full coverage around the eyes, preventing any foreign particles from getting inside.
The kit comes with two interchangeable lenses — a clear lens for low-light or indoor environments, and a dark lens for bright sunlight. This setup allows for quick adaptation to changing mission or training conditions.
The Wiley X Nerve features a durable frame and a wide field of view. The spherical lens design eliminates tunnel vision, delivering a clear, undistorted image even at an angle. The model meets the high protection standards of ANSI Z87.1 and MIL-V-43511C, and is rated Optical Class 1, ensuring zero optical distortion.
The lenses are made from multi-layer impact-resistant Selenite™ polycarbonate, capable of withstanding the impact of a 6.4 mm steel ball traveling at 150 FPS (45 m/s). They feature a T-Shell™ scratch-resistant coating, along with a Foil™ anti-fog coating that prevents fogging in humid environments and during sudden temperature changes. The lenses block 100% of harmful UVA/UVB radiation, which is especially important during prolonged exposure to sunlight. They are also highly heat-resistant.
The goggle is equipped with efficient Top-Down ventilation, which helps reduce the risk of condensation during intense activity. It features an elastic strap with a TRI-GLIDE buckle for a secure fit on the head or helmet. A soft fabric sleeve on the strap reduces friction and increases comfort. It can also be pulled over the goggle when not in use or used to wipe the lenses.
The goggle is compatible with the ARC Rail Attachment System (RAS) for mounting on combat helmets. Additionally, it can accommodate an Rx Insert for prescription lenses (sold separately), making it suitable for users who require vision correction.
