M-TAC PLATE CARRIER CUIRASS TIGER FAST ELITE 2 CLASS OF PROTECTION is the new evolutionary stage of personal armor protection in the PLATE CARRIER line. It is compatible with standard ESAPI (USA) Medium (31.8 x 24.1 cm) armor plates with beveled top corners.
The main feature of the M-Tac Cuirass Tiger FAST Elite 2 class of protection is its chamberband, which consists of two parts. The lower part of the chamberband is equipped with a ballistic package made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and is STANAG 2920 compliant with a V-50 anti-fragmentation resistance value of approximately 758.6 m/sec.
The upper part of the chamberband – is made from a combination of Tegris thermoplastic composite and Cordura 500D material. It has slots that form a Molle panel and allow you to attach additional gear to the chamberband.
Chamberbands are equipped with Duraflex quick-release fasteners, made by American company National Molding. These fasteners belong to the premium class, due to the combination of simplified fastening (unfastening) system, low weight, and durability (withstands high loads).
In order to fasten a fastener, you should place the part attached to the chamberband into the fastener strap on the front of the platebearer and pull until a characteristic sound is heard. A sharp upward (or downward) pull is necessary to disengage it. Note that the fastener is undone and fastened according to the same principle regardless of its placement (right or left side of the kamband).
M-TAC CUIRASS TIGER FAST ELITE 2 CLASS OF PROTECTION is made of high-quality Cordura 500D, an ultra-durable fabric resistant to abrasion and high loads. There are 3D mesh inserts on the inside of the sock liner that provide cushioning and air circulation. Ergonomic shoulder straps are comfortable to use and organically follow the contours of the body.
On the front of the product, there is a Velcro panel with slots, on which you can attach Molle-compatible equipment and ID-IDs. At the top of the plate carrier, the brand's designers have provided a small administrative compartment on the AquaGuard waterproof zipper. This pocket is designed to hold small flat items such as ID, keys, lighter, and other items.
At the bottom of the vest is a quick-release module with 3 pouches that securely hold magazines. To avoid accidental tearing off the Velcro base, it is attached to the slings on the plate carrier with Woojin carabiners.
On the upper part of the module, there are special protrusions with perforations (2 for each integrated pouch), designed to change the position of the elastic cord loops for easy carrying of magazines. On the sides of the module, there are elastic bands for carrying chemical light, markers, etc.
At the back of the plate carrier, there is a classic Molle interface and an evacuation handle, which in hiking position is fixed to the backrest with Velcro panels.
M-Tac Cuirass Tiger FAST Elite 2 class of protection can be used as a standard version or by adding additional modules to it, increasing the area of anti-fragmentation protection. In combination with other equipment, the Cuirass Tiger FAST Elite allows to formation of a modern modular system of individual protection of a fighter. This product can be supplemented with a gorget, damper, shoulder protection, chamberband, abdominal protection, apron, and waist protection.
