The SHC BURAN 4.0 helmet is the latest model from the Super High Cut line of the Ukrainian company SXE Group, combining advanced head protection technologies, ergonomics, and reliability. It corresponds to the protection class DSTU 1 and NIJ IIIA, providing effective protection of the upper part of the head from shrapnel and pistol ammunition.
The shell is made of advanced material (aramid fiber) from the Dutch company Teijun™, which provides an excellent combination of lightness with a high level of protection against ballistic threats.
The Super High Cut of the helmet promotes compatibility with headsets and other communication systems.
The ARC-type rails have “in” and “out” holes with a routing path between them, allowing the user to run the wire from the night vision device (NVD) directly inside the rail and out the back to the battery.
The helmet features the latest SXE BOA+ fitting system, incorporating an internal metal cable for even pressure distribution and the most precise fit possible.
Four-point harness attachment ensures a secure hold even during active riding.
The two-layer cushions have a base (first layer) made of expanded polypropylene (EPP), which completely covers the dome from the inside and has excellent anti-deformation dampening characteristics. The second layer of cushions are extremely soft sponge pads of varying thicknesses so that the user can customize the helmet to fit their head as much as possible (the kit comes with 20-second layer cushions).
The company produces helmets in three sizes: Small (S), Medium (M), and Large (L). In particular, the S-size helmets are ideal for female military personnel, who can find it difficult to find the right size head protection.
