The USMC 3 Season Sleeping Bag is a lightweight military sleeping bag designed as part of the modular sleep system used by the United States Marine Corps. It is optimized for three-season use and provides reliable comfort at temperatures above –5°C (23°F). When combined with a bivy cover, sleeping pad, and appropriate clothing, it can be used in conditions down to –15°C (5°F).
The sleeping bag is soft, lightweight, and well-suited for field conditions. The outer shell is made of durable nylon resistant to wear and moisture, while the synthetic polyester insulation retains warmth even in damp environments.
The inner lining features an antimicrobial treatment to help prevent bacterial growth and odors during extended use. Tubular insulation baffles reduce heat loss, and a wind-resistant draft tube along the zipper blocks cold air infiltration.
An adjustable hood enhances heat retention around the head, while the two-way zipper with a rubberized pull allows easy operation, even while wearing gloves.
The sleeping bag is fully compatible with other components of the USMC modular sleep system.
