The Garmont T8 Extreme GTX tactical boots are designed for cold-season use and adverse weather conditions. Compared to the T8 Bifida model, the Extreme GTX version is enhanced with a Gore-Tex® Insulated Comfort membrane, providing increased protection against moisture and cold. The membrane prevents water penetration and blocks cold air, making the boots ideal for rain, snow, and low temperatures.
The construction follows ADD (Anatomically Directed Design) principles, ensuring a natural fit and full freedom of movement. The upper is made of 1.8 mm suede combined with polyester inserts for added durability. Rear pull loops make the boots easier to put on and can also be used for carrying.
Metal eyelets and hooks allow quick and secure lacing. The anatomically shaped tongue is gusseted and attached to the upper to prevent shifting during walking or running. Thicker at the top and thinner at the bottom, it provides a secure and comfortable ankle fit. A protective collar trim helps keep dust and debris out.
The spacious interior prevents pressure on the heel and big toe. Reinforced toe and heel areas enhance durability and protect against mechanical impact.
The polyurethane OrthoLite® insole retains its cushioning properties over time (approximately 5% compression), offers excellent breathability, and effectively wicks moisture.
The Vibram Grivola outsole delivers reliable traction on various terrains in all weather conditions. Deeper heel lugs improve braking performance, while the tread pattern promotes self-cleaning from stones and debris.
