Peltor ComTac V active headset The headset is equipped with a microphone and high-quality speakers, which are optimized for voice communications and can pick up sounds with great sensitivity with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio for clear and accurate sound reproduction. The result is a more natural-sounding headset with unrivaled audio clarity.
The headband is made of a more modern rubberized material that has increased resistance to harsh sea conditions.
When working with a headset, you can make the following settings:
-Balance mode adjusts the volume of the ambient sound between the left and right speakers, giving the operator the ability to prioritize
the sound or customize it according to his personal preference.
- Vacation time. The vacation time setting adjusts the time until the limiter is released after activation.
The default setting is optimized for combat. Extended delays may be more appropriate for indoor firearm training.
- Volume up or headphone mode. Increases the volume of the surround sound and external signal by about 6 dB.
It should only be used with properly fitted earplugs under the headset. In this model, the ear pads are made of special silicone,
which is able to press the headphones more tightly to the head and smooth out all the anatomical features of the skull structure.
-EQ function. The CT5's EQ function further adjusts a preset frequency that has been optimized for combat.
