Automotive stationary scanning receiver Uniden SDS200.
The Uniden SDS200 is an updated version of the SDS100 bodypack receiver with the following differences:
- this is the first radio scanner containing 2 frequency search filters: "narrow" (12.5 kHz) and "wide" (25 kHz) — therefore, when switching modulation, there really is a difference in volume level and selectivity in the adjacent channel;
- 1.5 DIN height instead of 1 DIN;
- patented Uniden TrueI/Q (SDR) reception technology;
- large informative color display;
- USB type A connector for future features and Ethernet connector for internet connection and streaming.
Uniden SDS200 Features
SDS 200 operating frequency ranges: 25–512, 758–824, 849–869, 895–960 and 1240–1300 MHz.
Support for APCO25, DMR (optional), NXDN (NEXEDGE/IDAS) (optional) and ProVoice (optional) digital standards — licenses for these standards are purchased separately.
TrunkTracker X supports APCO25 Phase I, APCO25 Phase II, X2-TDMA, Motorola SmartNet/SmartZone/Astro25, EDACS and LTR trunking systems.
Support for DMR Tier III, Hytera XPT, Single-channel trunking.
Number of channels: unlimited (depends on the size of the microSD card). In practice, many thousands of channels are available, which is enough for any task — even if you never clean the memory.
New Discovery Mode — Helps you discover new operating frequencies in both conventional and trunked modes.
New analyzer mode, including a number of submodes:
- spectrum analyzer;
- received signal power level meter;
- analyzer of trunk systems;
- logical channel number finder (LCN) for EDACS/LTR type systems.
Possibility of arbitrary choice of modulation AM, NFM, FM, WFM or FMB.
Possibility of arbitrary choice of step: 5, 6.25, 7.5, 8.33, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, 25, 50 or 100 kHz.
Large informative LCD display containing both icons and hundreds of characters of alphanumeric information. Optionally, a mode of simplified information output in the style of models of previous generations is available.
Text designations can be up to 64 characters long.
RJ45 Ethernet connector for connecting to a home network, allowing remote control of the scanner and streaming on the Internet.
Large color LED status indicator.
Signal strength indicator.
Possibility to link lists of subscriber IDs to a number of trunking sites, which provides ease of use and saves memory.
On-demand playback of the last 4 minutes of voice activity.
Recording conversations manually to a microSD card.
All data is stored on a flash card, so it can be easily copied to a PC or other card to ensure the safety of information.
The scanning speed is 80–125 channels per second.
The possibility of increasing the scanning speed to 250–375 channels per second at a frequency step of 5 kHz.
Proprietary Close Call technology — capturing signals in the near zone in a fraction of a second and indicating the frequency of the detected signal.
The best search engine for CTCSS/PL subtones and DCS/DPL codes.
Repeater frequency reverse function, which makes it easier to control and find the input frequency.
Automatic skipping of digital channels, the voice exchange on which is encrypted with a cryptographic algorithm (reduces user fatigue).
AGC system for digital and analogue transmissions, which can be programmed individually for each system.
The SDS200 allows the connection of a GPS receiver (RJ connector on the rear panel) to scan systems with reference to the current location (automatic on/off of systems on the move).
Programmable channel activity indication: 7 colors and 3 different scenarios.
Individual volume correction by frequency or channel.
The Quick Search mode is an analog of the VFO mode in radio stations, providing free tuning in frequency.
Function of temporary (up to 250 pcs.) and permanent (up to 250 more pcs.) frequency skip.
The triple frequency conversion circuit virtually eliminates the possibility of internal interference in the scanner.
The possibility of shifting the IF conversion circuit to eliminate the interference obstacle in case it has arisen.
10 random search ranges that the user can set at their discretion, so as not to depend on certain frequency distributions in the United States.
Priority scanning of different types: priority+do not disturb, priority+scan.
Flexible setting of the time spent on the active channel and scan recovery (2 independent timers with the ability to force scan recovery even when the frequency is active).
Display backlight and customizable keyboard: on, off — automatically activated by pressing a button and / or by opening the squelch.
Sound tones that uniquely identify the action performed with the receiver: successful or unsuccessful.
Built-in USB micro interface for connecting to a computer (on the front and back panels).
Built-in USB type A interface for features that may be added in the future.
Upgradable firmware to enhance functionality and address potential compatibility issues.
Channel programming via PC (Sentinel).
Keypad lock feature.
