The M-Tac anti-fragmentation ballistic package is designed to provide protection when performing a wide range of tasks and will definitely be of interest to fans of modern tactical equipment.
The product is designed to protect against fragments (of a certain speed and size). Suitable for placement in the back of the M-Tac Large walking bag and protects the groin from ricochets and debris, increasing the area of anti-fragmentation protection of your equipment.
Made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and complies with NATO STANAG 2920 with a fragmentation resistance rating of V-50 = 758.6 m/s (accuracy ± 40 m/s).
To understand the analogy with bulletproof resistance, an armoured package with a similar composition can withstand a hit from 7.62x25 Pst (57-N-134s) with an armoured deformation index of up to 35 mm, which, according to clause 7.1.1 of DSTU 8782:2018, is the equivalent of 2. Class 2 armoured package protection can withstand a shot of 9×18 mm, (9 mm Makarov), 9×19 mm, (9 mm Luger, 9 mm Parabellum) from pistols and carbines in a pistol cartridge and 7.62×25 mm, (7.62×25 Tokarev). (tests are carried out on standard samples 400x400mm).
