Demi-season US Army trekking boots from contract manufacturer Bates. Designed specifically for difficult terrain, such as the mountains of Afghanistan.
The model is made of 2.2 mm thick nubuck cowhide. Such outer material ensures flexibility and waterproofness of the product. An important detail: when sewing models, a minimum of leather scraps is used, which increases flexibility and wear resistance.
The collar of the freebie has a foam lining, so the shoes do not press the leg and do not interfere with blood circulation.
The heel and toe area are reinforced with plastic inserts. In addition, the entire sole is reinforced with a protective edge along its perimeter.
Antibacterial Omaha® lining provides thermal regulation that helps wick away moisture and prevents odour and fungus. Polyurethane anatomical insoles have identical properties to the lining.
The Vibram Bifida sole is ideal for mountainous terrain and wet rocky surfaces, as it has non-slip properties. In addition, it has a shock-absorbing effect, so it can absorb shocks and mechanical impacts.
Meet the AR 670-1 standard.
