Bronyx Class 3 armor plates are the lightest in the Bronyx line of hard armor elements. According to test results, these armor plates can protect against 7N6 (5.45x39 PS) and 57-N-231 (7.62x39 PS) bullets, as well as against various size fragments, shrapnel, and ricochets.
The material of the armor plate is 100 g/m² UHMWPE (supermolecular polyethylene).
The thickness of the armor plate is 23-24 mm.
Standardized shape of the plate of Shooter's Cut type (i.e. with beveled corners) and comfortable anatomical bend in two planes. The bend in two planes (3d multi-curved technology) improves comfort during daily use of armor plates, as it follows the shape of the chest wall, provides maximum fit to the body, and even distributes the plate weight.
Protection class: 3rd according to DSTU 8782:2018. The armor plate has been tested in a certified laboratory (it withstands 3 hits of bullets 5,45 × 39 mm. PS and 7,62 × 39 mm. PS. from 10 meters). Upon the buyer's request, a copy of the test report can be provided with the plates. All Bronyx armor plates are manufactured at production facilities in Ukraine.
XL – size 275 by 350 mm, weight 1.77 kg, chest volume from 120 cm (+-5 cm). These are the maximum size plates designed for large XL plates, we recommend to check carefully the size of the armor plate pocket.
Important! If the vest cover does not have a damper pad between the chest and the armor plate, we recommend using a damper inserted under the armor plate in the vest cover. It helps to reduce interference deformation caused by high-energy impact elements.
