Burlington Industries is one of the fathers of the American textile industry. A rich history, an impressive roster of innovation, and a drive to be the best have made Burlington Industries a model for many of America's entrepreneurs. However, to the average consumer, they are much better known under the Burlington Socks brand, which mass-produces comfortable socks.
The founder of the textile empire is the enterprising American Spencer Love.
Today, the Burlington Socks brand is owned by Kayser-Roth, Inc. in the US market. Greensboro, North Carolina, and in European markets the right to use the trade name belongs to the Falke Group (Germany). However, Burlington Socks remains a standalone brand with a traditional approach.
