The Lowa Z-11S GTX C is a high-top tactical boot for long hikes over varied terrain. The model has identical characteristics of the Z-6S GTX C and Z-8S GTX.
The upper of the boots is made of natural nubuck with a thickness of 1.8-2.0 mm and Cordura nylon material, from which the back of the boot and tongue are made. The interior is made by combining a backing mesh with a standard two-component vapour and water-resistant Gore-Tex membrane.
Gore-Tex ensures the removal of sweat and moisture to the outside, preventing the penetration of water from the outside.
Reinforcement panels at the toe and heel enhance resistance in flex areas.
The tongue is sewn to the main part, so water, dirt and small debris will not get inside. There is a quick lacing system with open loops at the top and closed loops at the bottom.
The fully removable anatomical insole with basic arch support has a three-component structure consisting of perforated foam, a sweat-wicking outer fabric and a layer of felt.
The polyurethane midsole is more durable than EVA, absorbs shocks and provides a comfortable ride.
The Lowa Monowrap® polyurethane frame along the midsole provides stability on rocky and uneven surfaces.
The Lowa® Cross Duty® outsole provides traction on a variety of surfaces, including slippery ones. It is also heat and cold insulating, antistatic and resistant to contact heat, grease and fuel.
The Lowa Z-11S GTX model was developed both for military field use and for hunters, taking into account the use of loaded expeditionary backpacks on routes with difficult terrain.
