The CRC 1U004А is a new long forend, with a long overlay on the gas tube.
It has a new bottom:
new upper bridge points;
new seats for the automatic rifle;
compatible with both long and short upper bridges;
a place for storing the cleaning rod in its original place;
lightweight design.
The short pad has an integrated Picatinny rail and M-Lok interface.
Note: on the front of the top cover, gases come out while shooting, in different places depending on the rifle. If you don't use these M-Lok holes for equipment, we suggest installing a short Picatinny rail (like the CRC 9004), or M-Lok plugs there.
Things that remain unchanged in the new long forend are:
rigid aluminium construction;
M-Lok interface for attaching accessories;
installation on the standard points (so you don't have to saw anything);
the possibility of using it both with an original gas tube and with tubes from other manufacturers;
the kit includes both the upper and lower parts of the forend. The lower part can be used separately.
