Israeli company First Care Products, founded in 1994, has developed an innovative pre-hospital first aid product designed to immediately and effectively apply direct pressure to a wound, stopping bleeding, preventing shock and death.
The bandages are worldwide patented, FDA and CE approved, with NATO and US NSN reference numbers.
In 2013, First Care Products and PerSys Medical merged their international marketing and sales operations. PerSys Medical, the majority shareholder, introduced the Israeli bandage to the North American market, where it has become the gold standard for military personnel and first responders. The bandage was used in various military operations and even to treat the wounds of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
