Weather Station Kestrel is in combination with a special weather vane.
Precision mounting securely fixes the device on a tripod or to any bracket type 1/4-20.
As soon as the device is installed on the vane, it immediately becomes an independent monitoring station,
as the large blades and high-quality rotary elements of the weather vane guarantee exact compliance with the wind direction,
while the weather station constantly measures and catalogs wind speed and other important environmental parameters.
The LiNK application (for iOS and Android), which captures the signal from the weather station at a distance of 30 meters,
displays Kestrel readings in real time on a mobile device in the form of a visual and customizable interface.
Weather Station can be stored and carried in a special pocket, located on the belt from the cover for the weather vane.
The entire kit weighs only 295 g and measures 6.5 x 7.5 x 22 cm.
The weather vane is easily installed on the Kestrel portable tripod (or any other tripod)
and adds to your pocket weather station the ability to measure wind direction.
To measure the direction of the wind, the instrument must be installed so that the wind is blowing in its back side.

An internal battery pouch secures extra AA batteries and MOLLE attachment points on the rear secures the kit to your belt or pack.
