The Fenix HL40R headlamp has 7 lighting modes, a maximum output of 300 lumens with a maximum illumination range of 96 meters. The lantern can be used for reading in a tent, illuminating the entire campsite, or navigating a hiking trail.

The body of the flashlight is made of aluminum and is strong enough so that it does not get damaged after falling, for example, onto stones from a height of one and a half meters. In addition, it does not rust and, according to the IP66 standard, can work in the rain.

Fasteners are made of high strength plastic. They allow you to rotate the lamp vertically within 60 degrees. The head strap is adjustable in size and, thanks to the forked back of the head, the lantern is securely fastened and does not slip.

The Fenix HL40R features a Cree XP-L HI V2 LED that delivers 600 lumens of brightness in Turbo mode. An additional advantage of the model is a mechanism for manually adjusting the illumination distance and beam angle. The rotary ring adjusts the beam width from 13° to 75°, and the illumination distance from 4 to 147 meters in different modes. There is a function to block the inclusion of a flashlight.

Powered by a built-in 2000 mAh lithium polymer battery. The battery is charged from any external device via a cable with USB and microUSB connectors. There is a built-in indicator to show the charging status.
