The Fenix HM23 is a universal headlamp with 3 lighting modes. Its brightness reaches 240 lumens and allows you to shine at 53 m.
The lantern is very compact, weighs only 43 g. Sold with battery and headband.
It works with Sgee LED, which gives a neutral white light and supports 3 modes with different beam brightness:
-High: the brightest mode - 240 lumens, illuminates objects at a distance of 53 m. The intensity of the luminous flux is 830 cd.
Without recharging the lantern works 8 hours.
-Med: mode with a brightness of 70 lumens and a range of 30 m.
The intensity of the luminous flux is 280 cd.
The lantern works for 16 hours.
-Low: the most economical mode - 4 lumens. The lantern shines at a distance of 9.5 m.
The light intensity is 22 cd. The lantern can work continuously for up to 100 hours.
All data on the operating time of the lantern are calculated based on the characteristics of the alkaline battery. Sold complete with Fenix HM23. If you use batteries with more or less capacity, these data will be different. You also need to take into account the discharge when working in the cold.
In addition to AA alkaline batteries, the Fenix HM23 model can work with nickel-metal hydride batteries with a voltage of 1.2 V. The same size lithium batteries are used with caution, and it is better to replace this type of battery with a more suitable one.
The headlight has a built-in battery discharge function. It will warn the user when it is time to replace the battery. The lantern, working in the minimum mode, flashes, signaling the discharge, and then will continue to work for some time - until complete depletion of energy.
The operation of the Fenix HM23 is made very simple, so that every user can easily work with this flashlight. The button is located on the side of the case. It turns the light on and off, allows short presses to switch between all brightness levels. By the way, the lantern is always turned on at minimum brightness. Other modes are available when the battery is sufficiently charged and may be temporarily disabled if there is not enough battery power to support them. You can block the accidental activation of the Fenix HM23 by slightly unscrewing the cover of its battery compartment.
The flashlight is sold together with a system of mounts on the forehead.
It is a platform for installing a lantern and an elastic strap around the head. Fenix HM23 rotates freely in the 180 mount vertically.
