Durable, IPX7 constructed; works with GPS satellite system to provide accurate positioning.
Know where you are with navigation sensors, including compass and barometric altimeter.
Battery life lasts up to 17 hours in navigation mode with 2 AAA batteries.
Simple but smart device, it is a compact and lightweight GPS navigator worn like a watch on a hand.
This device is ideal for activities where both hands should be free (tourists, skiers, military, etc.).
It includes a highly sensitive GPS receiver, a durable waterproof case (IPX7), USB interface, electronic compass and barometric altimeter.
No matter where you travel, you cannot worry about finding the right way home. Foretrex Navigator records your path and displays it on the screen as a line.
When you want to return, simply turn on the TracBack function and the device will show you the way to the starting point.
You can save locations in the memory as waypoints (up to 500) to find your way back when it is time to return to your tent or car.
Thanks to the electronic compass and barometric altimeter you can monitor the azimuth and altitude.
The power source uses AAA batteries, providing up to 17 hours of operation.
Using this navigator, you can combine several waypoints into a route and store this data in memory. In addition, the device includes additional information that may be useful during navigation:
trip computer, sunrise / sunset time, hunting/fishing calendar. For more information, you can connect the Foretrex 401 to a wireless sports sensor (heart rate monitor, pedal frequency sensor),
and also install the device on a bicycle using a special optional holder. You can connect Foretrex to a computer (PC or Mac) via the USB interface to record waypoints,
routes and tracks to a computer. You can also transfer waypoints, routes and tracks to another Foretrex 401 device wirelessly.
With a simple connection to a computer with Internet access, you can store and make a detailed analysis of your trips and workouts using the Garmin Connect service.
