The Ops-Core Rac Headset features a streamlined design and True 3D Hearing Technology (3DHT) for enhanced protection and situational awareness. The RAC (Rail Attached Communications) headphones easily fit onto the Ops-Core ARC railing system and revolutionize tactical communications. Designed to be compatible with Ops-Core's FAST® and Sentry® helmet systems, the RAC headphone design provides space at the top of the ARC bar for flashlights, cameras and other accessories.
True 3DHT technology enables natural hearing restoration thanks to patented design that mimics the function of the human ear. This unique feature reproduces environmental sounds with a high degree of fidelity, preserving and enhancing situational awareness.
The ergonomic design of the RAC earbuds provides high comfort with features such as high-performance ear pads and mounting brackets on the outside of the helmet. The ARC Rail-Type Attachment System relieves pressure at points normally subject to loading from third-party attachment systems and does not require modification to the liner or restraint system.
The auto-off feature turns off the device after two hours of use to conserve battery power. An audible signal warns the user of an imminent shutdown. The timer is reset by pressing any control button. AAA batteries provide 100 hours of 3DHT operation.
In the event of a low battery, the headphones can continue to be used for communication, while the 3DHT surround sound system is disabled.
The new streamlined design does not impede movement and does not restrict head rotation.
