Leofoto Summit series tripods are designed for weapons, large and heavy cameras and lenses. They feature extraordinary durability and lightweight.
Summit LM-404C tripod features
- Toray 100% 10-layer carbon fiber leg tubes feature cross rhombus structure for greater strength stability and less vibration.
- The tripod legs consist of four sections with diameters of 40, 36, 32 and 28 mm. They are equipped with the Twistlock system and therefore quickly unfold.
- Thanks to the thick legs it can support weapons weighing up to 40 kg.
- There is no center column, which minimizes vibration and makes it very sturdy. Optional center column is available to increase the maximum working height.
- The removable tripod plate is 100 mm in diameter and has a standard 3/8 inch tripod screw, making it suitable for almost any head.
- There are UNC 3/8 screw holes on the sides and bottom of the tripod plate to which you can attach a Magic Arm or smartphone.
- Offset Leg Joints. Tripods must occasionally withstand significant torsion loads so it is crucial that the leg angle stops, and all other structural joints are well supported. Leofoto's patented offset leg joints fully support the leg angle stops, allowing loads to be transferred straight through the strongest elements of the tripod. This also means the tripod is more compact when collapsed.
- Leg extension locks with pivoting handle. Textured semi-solid rubber provides easy adjustment and a firm grip. Each lock can be operated independently.
- Rubber Ball Feet. Large diameter teardrop-shape keeps leg sidewalls from touching the ground even at the lowest settings and makes positive contact with the ground at virtually any angle.
- A set of spikes are included so you can use the tripod on any surface.
- A spirit level with good visibility is built into the top for precise leveling.
