The NAR HPMK Hypothermia Prevention and Treatment Kit with reinforced heat-reflective shell is strong, flexible, lightweight and impervious to wind and rain. Recommended by CoTCCC to prevent hypothermia during casualty care.
The kit's durable outer shell is made from a 4-layer composite fabric with a protected non-conductive reflective layer for superior thermal insulation.
Quick access to the victim from any side is achieved through the use of 1.5” Velcro fasteners located around the perimeter of the cover.
Features a built-in hood, fluid wicking pad and tapered shape to maximize isothermal performance.
The heat source is a self-heating, oxygen-activated shell liner rated for 10 hours of continuous dry heat (no external power required).
The kit is packaged in a NAR Red Tip Technology Vacuum Rugged Flexible Bag with dedicated opening points for easy access and quick deployment.
