Specna Arms SA-249 MK2 machine gun replica belongs to the CORE™ line, which combines good performance with high quality materials and is suitable for both beginners and experienced airsoft players.
The receiver, handguard, stock, dust cover, front sight with base, magazine and pistol grip are made of polymer. The outer barrel, magazine well and flash hider are made of metal. The bipod, external barrel lock, stock support, trigger guard, transport handle, as well as all pins and mounting elements are made of steel.

The ESA™ quick spring exchange system allows you to quickly set up your replica for the expected conditions on the playing field without the need for access to a workshop or a set of special tools. The process of replacing the spring takes a matter of seconds. It is only necessary to remove one pin, pull back the bolt of the buttstock and remove the guide spring along with the spring through the hole in the gearbox frame.
The replica is equipped with a full-size metal and heavy-duty M249 gearbox. The mechanism allows further tuning and is ready for the loads associated with covering fire. Inside there are the following components:
- M120 main spring;
- 8 mm ball bearing;
- ball bearing spring guide;
- a set of steel gears;
- rotary metal Hop-Up chamber.
The set includes a 2500 BB polymer box magazine, allowing you to shower your enemy with a rain of ammo. The balls are fed automatically from the magazine thanks to an electric winding mechanism powered by 2 AA batteries (not included).
Electric replicas are usually powered by batteries with voltages ranging from 7.2 V to 11.1 B. Do not use batteries with voltages other than those provided/suggested by the manufacturer, as this may damage the gearbox components or cause the system to malfunction.
