PCU (Protective Combat Uniform) is designed for Special Forces.
It was developed as a more modern and comprehensive replacement for Lightweight Environmental Protection (LEP)
developed as part of Special Operations Forces Equipment Advanced Requirements (SPEAR).
Level 7 is designed for extremely cold conditions.
Lightweight jacket retains heat even in wet condition due
to the combination of soft shell fabric and Primaloft filler.
Modern, unparalleled PrimaLoft insulation has unique thermal insulation properties -
a thermal resistance coefficient of 2.15, which is an exceptionally high figure.
In its structure, it resembles goose down, but at the same time,
the product endures many washings without losing its structure and insulating properties.
The fibers have water-repellent properties, but they allow moisture to evaporate,
providing excellent "breathability" of the fabric.
It does not get wet, it has a minimum volume in the packed state,
instantly and independently finishes after compression.
In combination with the layers L1, L2, L3, it allows even at -40 degrees
to be in the freezing cold for a long time, in an inactive state.
The outer layer is made of fabric encapsulated with
a silicone polymer using a unique EPIC technology,
unlike all kinds of impregnations, does not wash and does
not lose its water-repellent properties throughout its entire service life.
