LifeStraw is a company that dates back to 1994 when water pollution was a problem in Guinea and then Vestergaard developed the LifeStraw Guinea Worm filters, which is helping to eradicate disease in the area today.

LifeStraw is committed to sustainable drinking water through technological innovation and product quality and design. In doing so, their work raises the issue of access to safe drinking water, engaging government, donors and individual consumers to understand the problem and become an active part of the solution.

LifeStraw technology is now adapted for use in the home, and the LifeStraw Family Purifier is designed to purify large volumes of water. To enable the high volume LifeStraw Purifier for establishments such as schools and clinics, we have developed the LifeStraw Go and LifeStraw Mission refillable bottle, a large foldable bag for camping, group hiking and expeditions.

Today, LifeStraw products and designs are used in more than 64 countries around the world, but this is just the beginning. Inspired by the positive health impact of LifeStraw, Vestergaard will continue to innovate by introducing new LifeStraw products to meet different needs and initiating equally innovative programs to bring them to the people who need them most.
