The Fenix CL27R is one of the most functional flashlights in the brand's range, with 10 modes of operation with up to 1600 lumens and infinitely adjustable color temperature. The model can be used for a variety of purposes, from home lighting and camping to industrial work, adapting the light to your current needs.
The lantern is powered by a Luminus SST20 LED and an auxiliary tri-color COB diode - both with a life expectancy of at least 50,000 hours, ensuring the longevity of the device. The beam angle depends on the type of mode selected: in the near illumination mode it is 105°, in the long-range mode it is 14.5° with 85° side illumination, and in the combined mode it is 14.5° with 105° illumination.
Operating modes and control features
The main advantage of the Fenix CL27R is the presence of 4 groups of illumination, including a group with red light that preserves night vision.
The color temperature of the low beam modes is 5700K, while the temperature of the long-range and combination light options can be adjusted from 2700K to 6500K.
It is controlled by a single button and two rotary switches: one is responsible for switching modes, the other for changing the color temperature of the beam.
Power supply
For power, it is recommended to use the Fenix ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery, which provides uninterrupted operation of the flashlight up to 285 hours on a single charge, regardless of the conditions of use. This battery is included in the package, as is the USB Type-C charging cable. It takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge.
Alternatively, you can use the Fenix ARB-L18 18650 size li-ion battery.
The battery charge level is conveniently monitored with the help of a color indication, which is activated each time the flashlight is turned on.
Physical parameters
The main body is made of aluminum alloy, which does not rust in contact with aggressive environments and makes the flashlight immune to damage when dropped from a height of 1.5 m (5 feet). The model is suitable for use outdoors in inclement weather as the sealed shell is IP66-rated.
The lantern can be mounted in any convenient way: mounted on a threaded tripod, suspended and fixed on a metal surface with a 360° rotating magnetic handle, or placed on a table and used as a miniature lamp.
