The Wilcox G37 Mount System is designed for mounting night vision devices on MICH and ACH helmets. It mounts to the helmet with one screw.
The Wilcox G37 mount system is a replacement for the standard US Army single hole night vision mount.
The G37 system is equipped with a Wilcox G24 mount and Wilcox Army Compatible One-Hole Shroud, as well as a Wilcox safety lanyard.
The safety cord is securely fixed to the fastener. The cable is equipped with a spring lock that allows you to clamp and hold the NV,G preventing its possible loss.
This NVG mounting system allows the G24 mount to “break away” from the base under a stressed condition, such as when prompted by interference during fast roping, maritime operations, hard impact or when entering or exiting mobility platforms. Without the Wilcox breakaway feature, the potential for induced neck injury and NVG breakage are increased.
Another great feature of the Wilcox G37 is that it mounts the night vision divide in front of your head instead of above it (like standard mounts). This reduces your profile and makes it easier to judge your height when entering and exiting vehicles or moving through windows and doorways.
The Wilcox G37 Mount System features a wide range of adjustments to customise the position of the Night Vision Goggle for proper eye position, and provide a maximum low profile position to the helmet.
Please note that Wilcox mounts use a proprietary dovetail interface and are not compatible with J-Arm adapters.
