The Ruike F186 knife measures 231 mm (9 inches) in length and features a concise design with a balance between ergonomics and durability. The model is not only suitable for outdoor use but also easily handles everyday tasks that require a sharp and sturdy blade.
The fixed blade has a universal straight back profile with an extended cutting edge and a thin point, which makes it easy to perform stabbing and slashing works. For ease of use during power cutting, the blade has small notches on the edge to form a thumb rest.
The blade is made of D2 steel, characterized by excellent strength, easy sharpening, and good corrosion resistance. Thanks to its 59-61 HRC stiffness, the straight blade effectively cuts materials of different densities - from thick cardboard to hard plastic and even small branches. The stonewash treatment makes the metal semi-matte, eliminating any glare and masking fingerprints and minor scuffs on the blade.
This is the first knife in Ruike's range, the handle of which is made of Micarta. The advantages of this material include stability under temperature fluctuations, immunity to moisture, and resistance to mechanical damage. In addition, Micarta does not absorb odors and does not fade over time, retaining its original appearance throughout its service life.
The handle pads are shaped to increase ergonomics. This feature, combined with the slightly rough Micarta surface, makes the grip as secure as possible without slipping in the palm. For extra security, you can also slip the handle on the hand with a sling (not included in the kit). A hole in the tail of the handle is provided for attaching the handle.
The weight of the knife is 148 g (5.2 oz). The kit includes an ABS plastic sheath complete with a strap with a button to secure it to your belt.
