Lasting WHI are unisex all-weather socks. Medium thickness, with reinforcement zones, the main material is natural merino wool.
Due to the thermoregulatory properties of merino wool, they can be used in the summer heat, in the cool weather of the off-season, and in not very severe frosts. Designed for everyday use, hiking and mountain tourism.
Features of Lasting WHI socks
Medium-height model in 2-layer smooth jersey. Made from natural merino wool with the addition of three types of synthetic fibers.
16 micron (0.016 mm) Australian merino wool with high thermal insulation properties. Does not irritate the skin, unlike ordinary wool. Its fibers are 100% keratin, which is part of our skin, so it does not cause allergic reactions. Also, wool does not absorb unpleasant odors and provides free air circulation.
Polypropylene Siltex microfiber wicks moisture away from the skin. It is also modified with an antibacterial additive based on silver ions. This additive prevents the growth of bacteria and fungi that cause unpleasant odors.
Nylon adds strength and durability.
Lycra allows the sock to fit snugly around the foot and not wrinkle during physical activity.
In the area of the toes, on the heel and on the foot, a two-layer terry jersey of higher durability.
This extends the life of the socks, provides better cushioning and prevents chafing of the feet.
The flat seam on the toe, made on the equipment and technology of Rosso,
is similar to the loop-to-loop seam and does not rub the legs during prolonged wear.
