To withstand operation in such harsh conditions as outdoor recreation, the knife must be assembled from the highest quality components. So, the Ganzo G738 blade is made of stainless steel, which has found wide application in this industry. Grade 440C contains a variety of alloying additives that improve its properties, increase rust resistance and the ability to remain sharply sharpened. The blade geometry is well thought out. This is a drop point with a lowered butt line. The edge of the blade is slightly raised, due to which the cutting edge is actually lengthened. The sharpening of the knife is smooth and easy to refurbish using the most common pocket sharpener. As for the dimensions of the blade, it is 8.9 cm long, which makes it easy to use the knife for cleaning fish, making sandwiches, and 3.3 mm thick.
In each of the extreme positions (open and folded knife), the blade is well fixed. This is facilitated by the use of the Axis-Lock. It uses a small metal pin that determines the position of the blade. You can even unlock such a lock with one hand, which is an undoubted advantage for tourists and hunters.
For the handle, G10 fiberglass was chosen. It has earned the trust of knife manufacturers and buyers for its corrosion resistance and durability. On these grounds, the G10 is significantly superior to other types of plastics. The knife handle has a convenient size and shape. Its surface is not smooth, but textured, moreover, the long indentations in the lower part of the handle prevent the grip from slipping out. They also serve as a decorative element in the overall design. The Ganzo G738 comes in three versions, each with a different handle color. At their own discretion, buyers can choose a black handle, dark green or orange.
