The main qualities of the EDC knife are compactness, lightness and reliability, because no one wants to constantly carry with them a large-sized blade that will take up too much space in the pocket. In this case, the new product from Ruike - the P865-B model will be an excellent option.
When folded, the length of this knife is only 114 mm (less than most modern smartphones), and due to the absence of large protruding parts, it can easily fit even in a small pocket of trousers and will not interfere with the user when wearing.
The Ruike P865-B knife is opened with a one-sided pin and locked with a Liner-lock. The length of the open knife is 20.5 cm, of which 9.1 cm falls on the blade.
The shape of the blade - Wharncliffe, in combination with a smooth sharpening of the cutting edge, allows you to make a smooth and accurate cut, as well as work in hard-to-reach places. For the manufacture of the blade, stainless steel 14C28N hardened to the level of 58-60 HRC is used.
Despite the angular design of the handle of the Ruike P865-B knife, it fills the palm well and, due to the textured surface of the linings, does not allow the knife to be dropped even when working with gloves.
The clip is worth a separate mention. It is made to match the knife and has a rather discreet design. Its main feature is the deep fit, which allows you to completely hide the knife in your pocket, which has a positive effect on the ease of wearing Ruike P865-B.
