Ruike brand knives are a great example of what a truly “modern” folding knife should look like. After all, the products of this company are created using the latest materials and production technologies. Thus, for the manufacture of the blade, stainless steel of the 14C28N brand is used, which has undergone a special heat treatment and has a hardness at a fairly high level (58-60 HRC). The blade of the Ruike P138 knife has an American tanto shape, and its cutting edge is straight sharpened. This combination is an excellent solution for a multi-purpose working tool, which the presented knife is.
This model has two blade locking mechanisms: the main one - Liner lock and the auxiliary one - Safety lock. Thanks to them, the user does not have to worry that the P138 knife will fold at the most inopportune moment. The opening of the knife is made with the help of the “fin”, which is part of the blade. It is necessary to “drown” it a little in the handle and swing the knife: due to inertia, the blade will take its working position, where it will be fixed with a lock.
The grips on the handle are made of G10 and due to the unusual layout and angular shapes make the Ruike P138 knife really original. And the presence of two color options (P138-B - with a black handle and P138-W - with a beige handle) will allow you to choose exactly the knife that is more suitable for the scope of use or for personal style.
