The Snugpak Ionosphere is a compact one-person tent. With a two-pole design that is easy to install, forms a ringed shelter that minimizes condensation.
The tent provides one entrance with a corner zipper closure with two versatile locks. If required, the inlet valve can be completely rolled up and locked in the rolled position. Inside there are only two general purpose mesh pockets.
The inner tent is made of No-See-Um Mesh, which not only protects against insects, snakes, etc. But it can also be used as a stand-alone mosquito shelter / barrier during the summer months and during the warmer months.
The Ionosphere protects you from all but the worst of weather with 5000mm HH-coated polyurethane (PU) sheeting and taped seams, while edging reinforces high wear areas.
The Ionosphere measures 240 cm long and 90 cm wide, which creates enough room for one person with some equipment.
In an emergency, the Ionosphere can accommodate two people. The Ionosphere low profile tent is compact and lightweight 1.2kg.
Thanks to the proven and lightweight DAC aluminum feet, it doesn't take up much space in your backpack. Ionosphere is ideal for applications where light weight and small package size are important.
To set up the tent, you will need 4-6 pegs and two prefabricated aluminum arches, which are placed in the provided channels and fixed with metal eyelets in the lower part.
