Windproof parka Smock Windproof MTP, which is part of the PCS (Personal Clothing System) system — the British system of individual clothing, which is an analogue of the ECWCS in the USA.

The hood is large enough to wear a helmet underneath. If not needed, it can be folded and fixed with a textile sling and a button.

The shape of the hood is supported by a sewn-in flexible wire.

The ventilation system is represented by classic pockets under the armpits. There is no mesh lining in these pockets.

There are 7 pockets on the front. They are equipped with additional protection against unfastening — the button is not passed through the flap above the pocket, but through a special insert below it. The front walls fold when the pockets are closed, which provides protection against the contents falling out. An additional small pocket with button closure is applied to the left breast pocket.

Under the chest pockets there is a pair of slits — these are pockets with vertical zippers with organisers for pens, tweezers and things of similar dimensions. The cut-in pockets have a mesh bottom, so they can be used for ventilation.

The lower pockets are designed for bulky equipment or hand warmers. They easily fit a gloved hand, and also have an inner fleece lining.

The plastic zipper is covered with a strip of fabric that is fastened with Velcro. There is a button epaulette on the chest area — a very British detail (the British Army soldiers wear a single chevron, which is attached to the epaulette) so it can be used as a scarf or hat attachment, so it does not have to be put in a pocket.

The pockets on the shoulders are closed with Velcro and have protection against the contents falling out. Velcro patches are sewn on the shoulders. An important detail: Velcro is covered with factory patches of appropriate sizes and colours. Thus, they will not collect dust and small debris unless they are covered with patches or chevrons.

The inside of the park is partially lined with a mesh lining. On the inside, there are two drawstrings on each side to tighten around the waist.

The sleeves are loose enough to wear long, thick gloves underneath. Adjustable with Velcro fasteners. The lower edge of the parka is adjusted with a shock cord.
