Priority Scan — continuously scans for the channels you prioritize.
The display is large, very informative. The backlight is orange, turned on and off with a separate button.
The receiver has a direct frequency entry. There are also 10 memory banks, each bank has 20 frequencies. You can also select and set scan boundaries in 10 frequency sections.
The frequency lock feature is very helpful in detecting closely located transmitters. Capture frequency occurs within 1-2 seconds.
The antenna is about 14 cm long. It has VNC connector.
When connecting an outdoor antenna it is equal UNIDEN VS890ХLT stationary scanner.
The scanner is powered by two AA batteries or two batteries. The battery compartment has a battery / battery switch. It has also a plug for external power supply, complete with a 6 V, 500 mA power adapter (220 volts). Current consumption is 110 mA nominal and 310 mA maximum. With help of 1800 mA accumulators, it works 16 - 17 hours confidently.
