HackRF One is a software-defined open source radio hardware platform that can be used as a peripheral USB device or programmed to operate autonomously and receive or transmit radio signals in the 1 MHz to 6 GHz range. It can be used for listening to the radio air and as a part of REB complexes for interference with enemy devices.
The device allows not only to receive but also to transmit radio signals in the range of 1 MHz – 6 GHz with a bandwidth up to 20 MHz.
The board is in a metal case, equipped with 2 functional buttons: Reset — to reset HackRf power, and DFU — to restore the factory firmware. On the same side with the buttons there is an SMA antenna connector.
On the other side there is the connector for micro-USB and two SMA connectors signed as CLKIN and CLKOUT. These are the input and output for synchronization. They can be used to synchronize multiple HackRf with each other, synchronize with other signal sources, such as connecting the included TCXO PPM 0.1 watch block.
