Tracer airsoft balls from the professional EDGE line from Specna Arms. Produced in cooperation with the Taiwanese company BLS - a well-known manufacturer of airsoft "ammunition" of precision level.
The diameter of each ball is 5.95 mm with a maximum deviation of +/- 0.005 mm; and the difference in weight between the individual balls is less than 0.01g. With this ball, the Specna Arms by BLS Edge Precision 0.28g work perfectly even with standard inner barrels, and they reveal their full potential in precision barrels.
At the final stage of production, each ball is carefully polished to a high gloss, after which a special coating is applied to its surface to reduce friction. This contributes to a high initial speed and at the same time provides a perfect interaction with hop-up systems. The surface has a perfectly spherical shape, without visible protrusions and depressions; in addition, the manufacturer has declared a special post-processing technology that guarantees the most accurate coincidence of the center of mass with the geometric center of the ball - which, in turn, gives excellent repeatability of shots.
The balls have a weight of 0.28 g - this is a relatively small indicator, designed mainly for pistols and rifles with a low muzzle velocity. The balls are biodegradable and are recommended for outdoor play.
The package contains 1 kg of balls, which corresponds to a total of 5000; for a player with an average ammo consumption rate, this will be enough for at least a few matches, and even for a whole season.
Tracer balls (or "tracers") are designed to be played at night. These balls contain light-accumulating substances in the composition of the material, which then illuminate the ball for some time, thereby creating the effect of a tracer bullet.
