Ballistic helmet SHC BURAN 3.0 from the line of Super High Cut helmets from the Ukrainian company SXE GROUP is a certified aramid helmet, which corresponds to the protection class DSTU 1 and NIJ IIIA. The helmet is made of sheets of aramid fiber.
The helmet comes with Air Potion Gen 4, a double set of pads for comprehensive adjustment of the depth and width of the helmet. In this way, the manufacturer provides the opportunity to individually create the perfect combination and position of cushions for each user. The cushions contain an air layer, which makes them waterproof after the sponge layer, whose purpose is to absorb sweat. The cushions with the air layer guarantee comfort and softness in use, but at the same time they become more rigid when hitting the helmet surface, which in turn makes it impossible to completely deflect the cushion layer due to deformation of the helmet from large fragments hitting it.
The suspension system is made of soft sponge material, which guarantees comfortable use. Two mounting options of the suspension system provide the possibility of additional adjustment to individual parameters.
The helmet is painted with powder paint with enhanced UV protection (this prevents overheating and color fading). The main advantage of this paint is its weight, which together with quality aramid fiber allowed it to achieve a helmet weight of 1.4 kilograms. This makes it the lightest aramid helmet among the products of domestic production and contributes to a more comfortable wearing, even for a long time.
Additionally, the technical holes in the helmet are treated with special materials to protect the inner layers from moisture. This prevents moisture absorption and weight gain and extends the life of the helmet.
The surface of the helmet is covered with Velcro panels, allowing you to attach cameras, flashlights, patches, and camouflage elements to them. The rails on the sides extend the helmet's compatibility with headsets, ballistic goggles, masks, NVGs, thermal imaging equipment, etc.
