The Level 7 Primaloft pants are one of the warmest items in the lineup from the M-Tac brand. This model of pants is ideal for use in winter.
The basis for these pants is a high-quality fabric (100% nylon) with Water Repellent impregnation. This fabric has water-repellent properties and is also wear-resistant. The pants are insulated with modern synthetic material PrimaLoft (100g/m²). The fibers of this material allow you to retain heat and evaporate moisture. They retain their thermal efficiency even when wet, which is important for keeping warm in changing weather conditions.
The lining of these pants is made of nylon, which provides good abrasion resistance and heat retention. High-quality fleece has been used for additional insulation in the waist area. The areas at the knees and the inside bottom of the pants are further reinforced with denser Canvas nylon, for better abrasion resistance.
The manufacturer notes that the pants were created for the winter period of Ukraine and the temperature range from 0 to -35 degrees Celsius (32 to -31 degrees Fahrenheit). These pants are of the Level 7 (seventh layer of clothing) product type, which conforms to the Army's ECWCS layer-by-layer clothing system. They should be worn as a top layer of clothing, worn over thermal underwear and other pants. Importantly, Level 7 Primaloft pants will only withstand this temperature minimum if the recommendations are followed.
The waistband has an adjusting sling that, thanks to the velcro panels and sling puffs, serves as a means of adjusting the size. On the side, there is a zipper along the entire length of the pant leg for easier and more comfortable dressing. This model of pants is equipped with YKK hardware, the world leader in zippers. There is a flap on the bottom of the pants, which you can use to adjust the volume of the lower part of the pants to your desired volume. These pants are designed to provide maximum comfort in harsh winter conditions.
