Modelled after the popular AK-74 assault carbines, the Cyma CM.04.0I Airsoft Drive has been modified with a range of tactical accessories to enhance the ergonomics and configuration capabilities of this classic and iconic design.
The replica is made primarily of metal. Critical components such as the receiver, flash hider, trigger guard and dust guard are made of steel. The outer barrel, front part, gas tube, sights and gas block are made of aluminium alloy. The pistol grip and magazine are made of plastic.
Thanks to the adjustable telescopic stock, it can be adjusted the length of the replica to the body type and preferences of the shooter. The carabiner is equipped with 4 RIS rails mounted on the front, which allow the installation of additional accessories. Other external design features include a modified ambidextrous bolt handle and an ergonomic SAW format pistol grip. On the right side of the receiver there is a classic safety lever-fire mode switch.
As with the firearm prototype, disassembly of the replica and installation of additional accessories will be facilitated by a pin-lever design. The outer barrel has a 14mm CCW thread on its end onto which a dummy flame is flash hider.
The replica is based on a v3 metal gearbox with reinforced internal parts. Powered by a rechargeable battery, with a Tamiya small contact mounted in the bulb (battery not included). With a base muzzle velocity of ~410 FPS and a high quality internal barrel, the replica is ideal for medium range operations.
The replica is equipped with a plastic magazine with a high lid with a capacity of 500 rounds.
