The Specna Arms SA-A03-M airsoft drive is made predominantly of a zinc-aluminum alloy reinforced with steel in the most stressed and critical places - in particular, all bolts, pins and swivel mounts for swivels are made of steel. For the telescopic stock (in the buffer tube of which there is a battery), as well as the pistol grip, polymer is used. Receiver and forend with RIS system have a protective anodized coating, which significantly increases corrosion resistance. The paint is also characterized by increased resistance and durability: it is applied by powder method, and the corresponding surfaces have been previously sandblasted. The receiver bears the USMC (United States Marine Corps) emblem.
According to the manufacturer, all parts of the product are very precisely fitted to each other (at the level of analogs from top brands), and the weight balance is optimized as much as possible, making the drive very maneuverable, and its weight "is almost invisible when held in the firing position."
One of the design features of the product is the quick spring change system - ECS (Enter & Convert). This system allows you to adjust the drive to the characteristics of a particular landfill, even without having access to the workshop or special tools: just take out the gearbox and replace the springs in a matter of seconds. The benefits of this design cannot be overemphasized given that different teams and organizations may have different drive power requirements. ECS allows you to install a variable spring with minimal effort and time, thus choosing the best initial ball velocity and providing an optimal balance between efficiency on the one hand and safety for the players on the other. It should be noted that the actuator is supplied with a variable spring M90, ideal for close range combat, particularly in buildings. It reduces the initial velocity of the ball to 94 m / s, while the standard mainspring gives about 125 m / s and is designed for medium-range combat.
The drive is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe batteries, however battery and charger are not included.
One of the elements of the ECS system is a steel guide spring installed in the gearbox. The gearbox itself has a reinforced structure, uses 8mm ball bearings and steel gears, with four anti-reverse hooks on the motor gear. The lightweight piston, made of polycarbonate, features a steel toothed rack for increased reliability. Also worth mentioning are the Type 2 cylinder, steel fire razor and metal hop-up chamber.
This drive is positioned as a modified model, in which, in particular, the following improvements are applied:
- durable steel gears;
- steel guide spring;
- lightweight polymer piston;
- sealed piston head made of aluminum alloy;
- metal cylinder head;
- sealed metal nozzle.
The drive is equipped with a 22 mm RIS top rail and a RIS forend. Fixed sighting devices are fixed on the upper bar, which, if necessary, can be quickly folded or even removed altogether so that they do not interfere with the collimator or other optoelectronic devices. The telescopic stock can be locked in any intermediate position thanks to the anti-slip surface lock, which allows you to very precisely adjust the length of the sample to the needs of the player. The flame arrester is installed on a standard left thread of 14 mm, which allows, if desired, to replace it with a dummy silencer. Other interesting features include a fully functional shutter delay mechanism.
The scope of delivery includes a steel hopper magazine for 300 balls. However, the occasion is compatible with many third-party stores on the market, in particular, products from such manufacturers: BOYI, Airsoft Systems, SRC, King Arms, MAG, STAR, ACM.
Battery and charger are not included!
