EDGE is Specna Arms' line of airsoft actuators, built with solutions and technologies nearly unavailable to any other similar device on the market. The emphasis in this series is made at the same time on the high-quality performance of the external part, general convenience and versatility, durability, ease of diagnosis of malfunctions and advanced tuning options. Out of the box, you get a completely ready-to-use drive that does not require any modifications; however, it is very easy to implement them if necessary.

The actuator bears the authentic, licensed markings of the real weapon manufacturer - Rock River Arms. This company is engaged in the production of parts and accessories for weapons, but also, most importantly, high-quality AR-15 carbines. Rock River Arms was founded in 1996 by the Larson brothers with Les Beer; the main office is located in Colonna, Illinois. The RRA is currently executing contracts for the supply of AR-15 carbines to the FBI, DEA and the US Marshall Service.

Every part of the drive is manufactured and processed with the utmost attention to the smallest detail. In addition, the case is coated with Nano Coating to resist scratches. Each piece is engraved with the Rock River Arms emblem, a unique serial number and a holographic stamp to prove authenticity. A separate mention is also the quick-release pistol grip provides quick and convenient access to the engine without special tools, as well as a double-sided swivel for attaching an armed belt.

The SA-E03 actuator has a traditional short forend with 22mm RIS strips, suitable for a variety of tactical accessories: flashlights, handgrips, laser designators, telescopic sights and the like. A flame arrester is installed on the barrel with a CCW thread of 14 mm, and a folding rear sight is on the upper RIS bar.

The internal equipment of the drive is interesting, first of all, by the factory-installed MOSFET X-ASR module. This high quality module, manufactured by the Polish company GATE, protects electronic components, increases trigger response times, and extends the life of the electronics and battery. In addition, it has built-in diode circuits for quick basic fault diagnosis.

The drive is equipped with a precision internal barrel with a diameter of 6.03 mm, which ensures high accuracy and good repeatability of shots. The barrel works in conjunction with a new type of rotating hop-up camera, which is characterized by high precision and quality in setting the ball spin.

Another interesting feature of the product is the ESA mainspring quick change system, which makes it easy to adjust the power of the shot to the requirements of a particular range. To replace the spring in such a system, it is enough to remove the buffer tube. This can be done in the field, outside of special workshops and without additional tools, moreover, there is no need to remove or disassemble the gearbox. The benefits of this design cannot be overemphasized given that different teams and organizations may have different drive power requirements. ESA allows you to install a variable spring with minimal effort and time, thus choosing the best initial ball speed and providing an optimal balance between efficiency on the one hand and safety for the players on the other. It should be noted, however, that the actuator comes with an M90 variable spring, ideal for fighting in buildings.

The "heart" of the actuator is the ORION gearbox, which is housed in a reinforced housing, has a quick release function for the main spring and can be used with M140 springs. And high-quality parts and components already available in the factory provide both reliability and ample opportunities for additional tuning.
The gearbox design includes, in particular:
- Reinforced polymer piston with cylindrical steel teeth;
- Aluminum airtight nozzle;
- Double sealed aluminum cylinder head;
- Double-sealed aluminum piston head with bearings;
- Spring guide on linear bearings;
- A set of steel gears;
- 8mm ball bearings.

The delivery set, in addition to the drive, contains 2 S-MAG mechanical magazines for 125 balls each. S-MAG with an exclusive brand of polymer stores, specially developed for Specna Arms. One of their features is the embossed texture in the form of an ornament from the Specna Arms logos, and their high quality workmanship ensures a reliable supply of balls even at high rates of fire.
