BT-47 Atlas PSR bipod with ADM 170-S quick-release mount. It mounts directly to the Picatinny rail for improved accuracy. Designed for the SOCOM PSR weapon system, which is a precision sniper rifle of the U.S. Department of Defense Special Forces.
Atlas BT47-LW17 PSR Features
- Made of 6061-T6 aluminum with Mil-Spec III hard anodized finish. Internal legs made of 7075-T6 aluminum. Individual components are made of stainless steel to increase the strength, load bearing and corrosion resistance of the product. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene components are used for smooth movement.
- Equipped with the ADM 170-S quick-release mount for direct mounting to the Picatinny rail.
- Tilt angle with respect to the vertical and horizontal axis varies ±15° from the center position. Platform tilt position settings are locked using the position button located on the bottom of the platform.
- 4. The platform has Fore and Aft pivot limiting bosses for the rifle.
- The legs rotate 180 degrees around the platform and are rigidly locked in position. This helps to customize the weapon to the user's needs and to quickly change settings when the situation changes drastically. The legs have 5 positions: 0, 45, 90, 135 and 180 degrees.
- Length adjustment of the legs is possible with one hand: the outer leg slides over the inner leg and locks in any of the five positions, which are ¾ inch apart.
- The outer legs do NOT rotate around the inner legs.
- The legs are equipped with sturdy rubber feet that lock securely into place on a variety of surfaces. The rubber feet can be replaced with Atlas BT23 Ski Feet or Atlas BT74 Raider Cleat Feet (replacement feet sold separately).
