Nikwax Tech Wash 300 ml is a professional cleaning agent for washing membrane fabrics on assault jackets, pants, and other assault clothing. The importance of using liquid means safe for fabrics during membrane care should be known to every outdoorsman since childhood because comfortable and timely moisture removal and reliable weather protection directly affect the success of the trip.
It preserves water-repellent and breathable properties of fabrics without damaging DWR treatment, as well as does not change the properties of synthetic fillers if they are present in the design of the product. It is not a chemical detergent in the usual sense but is a natural “liquid soap” degradable by microorganisms, and does not contain fluorocarbons, which makes it extremely safe for the environment and humans.
In its undiluted state, Nikwax Tech Wash can remove even stubborn and stale stains and also remove the unfortunate consequences of washing with conventional detergents and powders. After a quality wash, it improves the breathability of the fabric, gives a “fresher” look to the product, and maximizes the restoration of water-repellent properties.
Usage
For difficult stains, use undiluted Tech Wash and a sponge or nylon soft brush. Remove all parts that cannot be washed before washing. Shake well before use and follow the instructions:
1. Washing in a washing machine:
Remove detergent residue from detergent dispenser;
Do not wash more than two items at the same time;
Use 2 full caps (100 ml) per two articles of clothing. In regions with hard water, add 3 full caps (150 ml);
Do not violate the instructions on the garment label.
2. Hand washing:
Should be done with rubber gloves only;
Soak the garment in a container or basin of warm water;
Use 2 full caps (100 ml) per two articles of clothing. In regions with hard water, use 3 full caps (150 ml);
Rinse-washed clothes three times in clean water.
3. Drying:
Dry outdoors or in a dryer at a low temperature if instructions on the garment label allow.
