Lowa Zephyr Gtx tactical hiking boots are used by security services, law enforcement agencies and the military. The main area of use is movement across terrain with various types of coverage, in difficult conditions, with loads, etc.
Boots are made of high quality 100% leather (suede) with inserts of synthetic material Cordura. Suede is a durable material that has good vapor-permeable and moisture-proof properties, and textile elements reduce the weight of the boots. Inside there is a Gore-Tex membrane, it guarantees protection of the feet from precipitation and good vapor permeability under any conditions. Between the base material and the membrane there is a layer of special closed cell foam. This material does not have a sponge-like structure, therefore it does not absorb moisture and keeps the feet dry. The Lowa Monowrap midsole is a three-dimensional construction that sits between the upper and the outsole. It provides stability, lateral protection, and a natural toe-to-heel lift with Stability Frame technology.
The outsole of the Lowa Zephyr is a molded construction that combines different layers to provide maximum comfort, protection and support for the foot. The Lowa Cross outsole features an optimized rubber compound for reliable traction on a variety of surfaces. The Lowa Rubber Outsole is self-cleaning and performs well on both dirt and asphalt surfaces.
Lacing in the Zephyr model is represented by a system of closed hooks that securely fix the foot. They guide the laces and prevent them from snagging when they collide with foreign objects.
This combination of ultra-durable and high-quality materials, patented technologies and years of proven construction makes for a great boot for any activity.
