Tactical boots from the legendary Lowa brand with the sweet name of the Zephyr model have been a real bestseller for over a decade among the military, law enforcement officers, tourists, and those who can't imagine life without outdoor activities. In particular, this shoe proved extremely durable, comfortable, and functional on the feet of US and coalition special forces during the Afghan, Iraqi, and Syrian campaigns. The updated MK2 model retains all the benefits of its predecessor but features an even more advanced foot support and protection system, non-skid rubber outsole, and increased durability.
The Zephyr MK2 has a more abrasion-resistant upper and reduced stress on the flex zone by shifting the seam from the toe to the middle of the boot.
The Gore-Tex membrane provides complete waterproofness and breathability, keeping feet dry even in extreme conditions.
This model features an improved Lowa Monowrap midsole that provides stabilization and lateral protection for the foot and, with Stability Frame technology, creates a natural ankle lift from toe to heel.
The main focus is on the outsole upgrade. This model features the Lowa X-TRAC Military outsole, which consists of an optimized rubber compound for reliable traction on a variety of surfaces. It features a self-cleaning Lowa Rubber Outsole tread that works well on both dirt and paved surfaces. This outsole also features Slip Resistance technology, which protects against slipping on wet, slippery, and oily surfaces, as well as providing good traction on terrain. This model combines heat and cold insulation properties, enhanced slip resistance specifications, fuel, oil, and contact heat resistance.
A dual-zone closed hook system is provided for lacing. It securely fixes the foot and allows independent lacing of the upper and lower shoes, and a loop-stopper between them additionally fixes the laces. These hooks guide the laces and prevent them from getting caught when they collide with foreign objects.
