Tactical LED flashlight designed for use with weapons.

The light output of the flashlight is 2000 lumens, thus the Videx VLF-AT255RG provides a bright long-range beam with an angle of 85°. The range of use is up to 550 metres.

The product is fully adapted for tactical use: a system of double-sided springs made of pure elastic copper absorbs recoil energy during firing, thereby ensuring stable contact. The flashlight fits comfortably and securely in the hand, and its weight distribution is made in such a way as to minimise fatigue during use. Its strong body provides resistance to drops from a height of 2 metres. The body is made of deep anodised aluminium with an anti-abrasive and anti-corrosion coating, which ensures the resistance of the coating to wear. A metal two-way clip on the body allows you to attach the flashlight to clothes or a backpack. If necessary, the clip can be removed.

The front part of the flashlight has glass cullets made of silicon nitride, which is stronger than tungsten, built into the main part of the body. This allows, if necessary, to break the glass in a car, house or other place in situations where it is important to save life (evacuation in case of fire, emergency situation on the road, etc.).

The glass has high light transmission. The optical system is equipped with tempered glass with a double-sided anti-reflective coating, which has a high light transmission coefficient. Also, the glass is protected on both sides by additional rubber bumpers that protect it from impacts.

Thanks to IP68 protection against water and dirt, this flashlight can withstand not only rain or water splashes, but also short-term immersion under water up to 2 metres. You can use it confidently even in rainy weather or in a humid environment.

This flashlight is combined for convenience with the Videx VLF-ARM-01 remote button (sold separately).

It has a convenient two-button control system. The first one is responsible for turning on and off the mode (tactical lighting also works thanks to a partial press of the button — the last selected lighting mode is activated while you hold the button in this position). The second is responsible for switching modes in the on state, or momentary activation of the Strobe mode in the off state. Control is easily carried out with one hand.

The system of mechanical colour switching allows you to quickly choose from among three shades of light with symmetrical positioning of each shade, without using light filters:

- white. Daylight white light with a colour of 5000K, provided by a Luminus SST40 LED with a maximum power of 20 W;

- red. Red light does not impair night vision and has a lower unmasking factor than white light. Therefore, it is used by law enforcement officers when performing certain tasks;

- green. It is used in the hunting segment, as the light in the green spectrum is much less visible to animals and birds.

Videx VLF-AT255RG has 12 operating modes. For white light it is Turbo, High, Middle, Low, Moon, Strobe. There are also three brightness modes for the red and green light. To switch between modes, press the triangle button when the flashlight is on. Separately, we draw your attention to the Moon mode: the brightness of this mode is set at the level of 10 lumens. This will be enough to, for example, check the map, and at the same time remain relatively inconspicuous.

Strobe mode is activated using the triangle button. When off, press and hold the triangle button to quickly turn on the Strobe. If the flashlight is already on, the constant Strobe mode is activated by pressing and holding the triangle button for 0.5 seconds. A variable flash strobe has a greater disorienting effect on your subject.

The light flux stabilisation system consists of a temperature sensor and a controller. It provides maximum even brightness without fluctuations, while maintaining a safe temperature level for all components, including the battery.

Thanks to the replaceable lithium battery (Li-ion 21700 4000mAh), the flashlight can work up to 100 hours in the minimum brightness Moon mode. If necessary, you can simply replace the battery with another charged Li-ion 21700 or Li-ion 18650 (the appropriate adapter is included).

The model is equipped with a USB-C port. The built-in charging port is hidden under a protective sealing ring that prevents dirt and water from entering the case. The charging process is fast thanks to the Fast Charge protocol and takes only 2.5 hours.

There is also a built-in separate indicator of the charge level, which has 5 divisions, each of which corresponds to 20% of the battery charge. Flashing of the division means that the battery is discharged.
