Ganzo ProSharp is a universal sharpener designed to take care of the basic tools that every user has in his arsenal. With its help you can bring to perfection the cutting edge of a kitchen or tourist knife, sharpen home scissors or garden axe.
The main feature of the model is that its design includes a number of sharpening devices.
1. The main elements of the sharpener are two panels with different grits:
- on one side there is a 400 grit plate designed for rough sharpening of the blade to form the necessary angle;
- on the other side there is a 1000 grit plate, which can be used to grind the blade and give it a good smoothness.
The length of each plate is 150 mm. With their help, the user has the opportunity to choose the angle of sharpening. To give the tool the desired sharpness of the edge, it is necessary to alternately run the blade over the panel on both sides. On average, 6-12 passes per side are required for sharpening and deburring.
2. An alternative sharpening option is offered by two angled grooves located at the base of the handle:
- the groove on the left side is equipped with a carbide sharpening groove for rough blade sharpening;
- on the right side there is a groove with a ceramic sharpener for finishing.
These elements make it possible to quickly sharpen the tool, as sharpening is carried out on both sides of the blade at once.
3. In the center of the handle of the Ganzo ProSharp there is an auxiliary device for sharpening scissors.
The material of the handle is polypropylene. This is a food grade plastic that does not react with acids and liquids, so it is completely safe for human health. Polypropylene is resistant to shock loads and does not crack when dropped from a human height. In addition, the material is not afraid of extreme high and low temperatures. The length of the handle is 115 mm, which together with the matte surface of the plastic makes holding the accessory during use as strong and comfortable as possible.
The tail of the handle has a wide hole. With its help you can hang the sharpener on a kitchen holder, so that the model will always be at hand when you need it.
