Based on the Vietnamese tomahawk, the SOG Tactical Tomahawk easily handles a range of tasks that a military might have in a combat environment: breaking doors and windows, cutting wires or cables, chopping firewood or digging.
Due to durable materials and fastening of the head to the handle with screws, it is quite applicable to harsh conditions of use.
The lateral notch of the hammer ensures its precise location on impact. The sharp edge on the back of the blade is designed to break glass.
The functionality of the product makes it appropriate not only for the military, but also for tourist or domestic needs: the tool is capable of not only chopping, but also stabbing, cutting, crushing and breaking.
