The FREE EWOL Level 6 waterproof breathable parka is a top layer of clothing for extreme weather conditions. It is made of high quality Gore-Tex material that provides excellent waterproofness, breathability and windproofing. This allows the skin to breathe, preventing overheating while protecting against rain, snow and wind. Fire resistance is provided by DuPont Nomex fibres. The system is designed to work in and out of aircraft and combat vehicles.
High collar protects against the wind. The detachable hood folds compactly and is secured with Velcro.
There is a Velcro flap at the back of the neck (this provides access to the nylon harness sewn inside the CVC — Combat Vehicle Crewmen's Coveralls, designed to pull the fighter out of the combat vehicle).
The double windproof placket fastens with buttons. There are 3 velcro panels on the chest. Polartec Thermal FRR underlayer (not included) can be attached to the additional zips on the inside.
On the shoulders there are symmetrical pockets with vertical zips. They are stitched with velcro panels and IR tags. A pair of Velcro patches are sewn above the pockets. There is a pen pocket on the right sleeve.
Under the arms there are ventilation pockets with zips and buttons. There are reinforcing inserts at the elbows. There are side pockets with Velcro flaps.
The cuffs are fastened with Velcro.
The bottom is adjustable with an elastic cord with shockcords.
It is ideal for use in the cold season, as well as in rainy and windy weather.
